INVECH Group:
It is a partnership united by business groups and extensive experts from Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia and Timor Leste. We have expertise from raw material mining, logistics, industrial development, renewable energy development, tourism, health care, banking and finance , oil and gas, real estate, education and information technology.
Together, we realize that blockchain technology is the future. We imagine that blockchain technology with decentralization will be a disruptive force in the entire industry. The government and business mostly function through centralization. Someone or some organization sits in the middle, makes rules, and takes a toll (either taxes or fees) to provide a function. We can now utilize this technology, take intermediaries, and enable highly functional decentralized entities.
Therefore, the birth of Invech Group:
Today, we are an entity for a blockchain solution that allows traditional businesses to switch to blockchain. Allowing speed, reducing waste, globalization and decentralization. Together with experts from various industries, we want to turn the nation of Timor Leste into the first functioning blockchain city in the world. While focusing more on human resource development, development of social capital, and non-oil economy with blockchain, the duration needed to develop Timor Leste can be shortened significantly compared to what is needed by a normal country to develop.
We believe investing in human resources is very important to increase productivity, important for economic growth, and vital for democracy. Timor Leste's most valuable asset is not oil, coffee or sandalwood, but its people, potentially unlimited development resources. Investment in human resources is the most original and most decisive public investment, because the expected returns are quite high and usually manifest in the long term. Such investments have sustained the rise of the Asian tiger economy in the late 20th and 21st century.
Problems encountered:
Enough capital of human capital
human.
The concept of human capital recognizes that not all workers are cooperative and that employee quality can be improved by investing in it; education, experience and capabilities of employees have economic value for employers and for the economy as a whole.
Uneven distribution of wealth leads to poverty or severe income inequality inequality.
income is the distribution of household or individual income that is not evenly distributed across various participants in an economy. This is often presented as a percentage of income related to the percentage of the population. For example, statistics can show that 70% of a country's income is controlled by 20% of the country's population.
Contributing factors:
Education quality. It is noted in countries that provide high-quality secondary education throughout the economic spectrum, there are far fewer income differences.
Competition for talent creates salary sharing
Stagnant wages also play a large role in temporary inequality the diminishing influence of trade unions also causes flat or declining wages among workers.
The increasing demand for highly skilled workers adds to the widening wage gap. The company invests heavily in developing highly skilled workforce, which encourages wages for highly skilled workers. This leads to reduced pressure or automation of low skills that suppress wages for low-skilled workers.
Absence of national currency:
Timor Leste is known to have adopted US $ as a legal payment instrument. Together with US $, they also receive Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and their own coins called Centavos (in denominations of 1C, 5C, 10C, 25C, 50C, 100C and 200C; Every 100C is equivalent to US $ 1). After the occupation by Indonesian forces, Timor-Leste adopted the US Dollar as the official currency in 2000 because of many inevitable factors.
At present, the absence of a national currency has limited monetary policy and their exchange rates. There is no interest rate policy, or broad money management, or reserve ratio requirements.
Giving the central bank the country less power and unable to act as lenders and providing liquidity for their own banking systems, small and medium enterprises and citizens, if needed, which is more common than not.
Therefore, they use a 'front-loading' fiscal policy, especially with the help of now thinning oil reserves that register with the management of the Santiago Principles of Sovereign Wealth Funds, generating an average of ~ 2% -4% per year; and timely humanitarian funding from the United Nations. This strategy denies a broad money management plan. Cause long-term goals that cannot be achieved.
